WE’LL MEET AGAIN
We are sad to inform you that, in order to take the best and safest route for everyone, we have decided to cancel the International Futsal Tournament COSTA BLANCA CUP 2020 due to the global health crisis created by Covid-19.
After holding 15 uninterrupted editions, we have had to make this painful decision because the conditions are currently not suitable for the tournament to take place with absolute guarantees of safety for all the people participating and working at it. Your health and wellbeing are the most important thing to us.
We are grateful for all the displays of love and support we have received during these difficult months. There is nothing more important to us than these bonds of friendship, love and trust that have been created with you all over so many years.
We are aware of how excited and enthusiastic each and every one of you were: participants, coaches, fathers and mothers, relatives, referees, employees, institutions, etc. We say to you all to remain so, since we will be waiting for you next year.
We inform you that we will reimburse the full amount of any payments made by each club as a deposit on your registration and your accommodation reservation. We want to say how grateful we are to all the hotels that have worked with us and that are suffering so much due to this crisis for their full understanding and cooperation in the cancellation of reservations and reimbursement of payments.
And to end, we would at this difficult time like to pay a richly deserved tribute to FUTSAL. This wonderful sport, which has allowed us to be together with you all for 15 years. This amazing sport that has given us all so much and that has been so reviled on many occasions. This glorious sport that is also a game.
FUTSAL makes a hugely significant contribution to the development of personal values and skills, especially among kids and teenagers. FUTSAL is a constant source of learning: discipline, perseverance, generosity, respect for rules, empathy towards team mates, commitment… are virtues that become part of the DNA of sportsman and woman at each training session, in each metre run, in each ball recovered and in each hug after a success. FUTSAL represents a perfect instrument to promote a more inclusive society and to fight intolerance, racism and violence. FUTSAL is a potent factory of so many wonderful dreams…
We will meet again through FUTSAL, much stronger, at the COSTA BLANCA CUP FUTSAL 2021.
